Open Call for Season Commissions

Each year, withonevoice presents world premiere commissioned works of featured composers and arrangers from around the world. To align with our mission and vision, we seek a variety of commission projects for each season that represent diverse genres and voice qualities. We value original compositions and authentic arrangements of contemporary music including but not limited to, pop, country western, folks, music theatre, and gospel. 

We seek to provide a venue for new composers to premiere their work, and we seek to be representative of composer diversity in regard to gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and other underrecognized groups.  

Are you an interested composer/arranger? 

We are especially seeking authentic musical theatre arrangements for future seasons that have a belt feature. Listed below are the basic criteria for arrangements:

• Authentic key to the original for voice quality work

• SATB mixed voicing for a sixteen-voice balanced ensemble; divisi and solo opportunities welcome

• A Cappella or Piano accompaniment

• 3-5 minutes
